Tending Animals in Tiwanaku

One of the first things we need to do after we wake up is to tend to the animals.  Our family owns twenty-two guinea pigs.  They love to eat vegetables and grains.  We love to eat them.  Oftentimes, they are our only source of meat other than fresh fish from Lake Titicaca and llama or alpaca meat.  On some occasions we eat lake fowl.

Guinea pigs are delicious.  They make great food because their meat is very tender and they procreate a lot. Often, we let them out so they can run around our house compound. Watch your step or you may step on one of them! Our guinea pigs are smaller than the ones you are used to having as pets.
